Trecot is a Greek, non-seasonal, handmade to order, family-owned brand. Our design ethos
centers around products with character that last and can be treasured for many years. Each
individual piece is made to tell a story, one knitted by our founder’s hands.
We create new things the old way!
Making each item on demand gives a few benefits. It lives little room for waste while offering a custom sizing option. This way not only the environment can benefit from such practice, but you will too, with clothes that actually fit!
Each order is packed in a recycled box. When designing it we took under consideration making it usable even after its first purpose has been fulfilled, so that it may have a second chance before being put into the recycle bin. We also use tissue paper, hangtags and postcards from post- consumer recycled paper. Everything is recyclable too.
We love hand-knitted products for a couple of reasons. As a technique, it prevents material from being wasted. It’s not only a big part of our nation’s culture but part of the whole human heritage as well. Not to mention how pleasant they are to wear while never being out of style.
